For support teams
Golden Porch is not a helpdesk, and we would rather be direct about that. What it does is hold the account record that a helpdesk needs and rarely has — history, ownership, renewal dates, and everything that was promised during the sale.
The whole relationship
Every conversation with an account, from first contact through to the current renewal, on one timeline. Support does not have to reconstruct what was agreed during the sale.
Ticket context on the account
Open tickets from a connected helpdesk surface on the account record, so a renewal conversation is not the last place to hear about an unresolved problem.
Renewal visibility
Contract dates live on the account with automated reminders ahead of them. Renewals stop being a thing someone remembers and become a thing the system raises.
Handover between sales and support
The gap between "deal closed" and "customer onboarded" is where most bad first impressions are made. A closed-won deal can trigger a handover automatically: create the onboarding tasks, assign an owner, and carry across the notes about what was actually promised.
- Automated task creation on close
- Ownership transfer with full history intact
- Commitments recorded on the record, not in someone's inbox
Account health, honestly
Golden Porch does not calculate a health score. Scores tend to compress a lot of judgement into one number that nobody can explain, and teams either over-trust them or ignore them.
What it does instead is surface the underlying signals directly — time since last contact, open tickets, upcoming renewal, changes in the contact set at the account. Those are readable, arguable, and actionable, which a score usually is not.
Permissions across teams
Support and sales rarely need the same fields. Role-based permissions, and field-level controls on the Scale plan, mean a support user can see the account history without seeing contract values or private deal notes.
To be clear about scope: if you need ticket queues, SLA timers and a customer-facing portal, you need a helpdesk, and Golden Porch should sit alongside it rather than replace it. The integrations page covers how the two connect.

The sales-to-support handover is usually where the value is. It is a good place to start a conversation.
